You can download Detezo on the App Store and Play Store today. \nSimply put\, improper smartphone usage is worsening our lives. Social apps make us more lonely and anxious than ever before. Entertainment apps leave us distracted and unaware of our surroundings. Work apps have us unable to focus and separate from our jobs. If you’ve recently visited any tourist attraction\, concert\, restaurant\, or red light then you’ve likely noticed this too. \nAnd perhaps most importantly…smartphones are disrupting the learning environments of our youth. This continues driving lower test scores and higher rates of anxiety\, depression\, and even suicide. Rising health woes affecting the most impressionable among us are often correlated to smartphone adoption rates (Graphs below). Educators\, lawmakers\, and health experts are increasingly embracing limitations or full-on smartphone bans in schools as a result. \nDetezo supports this growing movement via a free\, digital solution. Students scan a QR code that blocks smartphone usage besides emergency services. When their class or school day ends\, phone usage is re-enabled via a single click from the Detezo app made by a faculty member. The app is entirely free\, no student registration is required\, and QR codes can scale to any school size. \nSmartphones meant to be our greatest tools have become one of our worst health detriments.
